Well, I haven’t written on here in write some time (ok like a year). A lot has changed for us in the past year. In November, we started the journey of moving to the New Orleans area. Dustin had just taken a new job and we were excited to start a new chapter. That’s when everything started to fall in to place. We had an offer on our house within a week of putting it up with a realtor (A WEEKKKK!! That just doesn’t happen!) Dustin went to Connecticut to train for his new job at the beginning of December and I was left to pack all the JUNK we had accumulated over the last 3 years of being married. I was able to transfer to a new job –right next door to Dustin’s job -- and we found a little apartment to move into. By New Year’s we were all (somewhat) settled and living in a brand new place. Looking back it was a whirlwind for sure. If you would have told us where we would be right now just 6 months before we would never have believed you. BUT we know we are here for a reason and are so, so, so excited about that. So I figured since we are in a new place with lots of grand adventures in front of us, it’s time to restart this neglected blog.
